The best style suiting the low budget wedding is rustic vintage. Check for yourself! You can do a lot of DYI decorations including the flower & table wedding decor. By the way, you are probably wondering why rustic? I guess, because I believe that this is the most natural way to get united. The nature around you helps you feel more connected and open to the world. Besides as I said rustic décor is easy on your budget.

In my opinion, one of the most important details of any party decoration including the wedding, is flowers and centerpieces. So I will try to convince you that you can make your venue more beautiful even without spending a couple of grands on greenery.

First thing you have to consider is season. Each season has its own plants and flowers and sticking to the seasonal plants rather than ordering imported flowers will not only save your money but will enhance the décor. Having chosen the season, you will have some options of the color palette. In spring use light and airy colors, summer – warm and sunny yellow / green / light blue, fall – rich and deep orange, brown, red, golden.

Another step is to think on kind of flowers and pot / vases ideas. There are hundreds of DIY rustic pots and flower arrangements ideas out there. And all of them are easy to do since most of the things are simply available at home. Don’t worry if your centerpieces will look like they’ve seen a few years, the idea of rustic décor – is return to simplicity and nature. Maybe you’ll find some ideas below appealing to you.

Centerpieces and flower wedding decor can be displayed in:

reusable buckets

Buckets. A brilliant idea for those who are looking for centerpieces that could serve some functions beyond the wedding. They are cool and reusable and can be used by guests long after the wedding. It’s obviously no waste of money. As an example: burlap covered buckets with an assortment of herbs (mint, marjoram, basil, tarragon etc).

Glass bottles. Any kind of bottle can be adjusted to be a centerpiece. If you’d like them to look more elegant and vintage, cover with a strap of lace and a ribbon.

cans

Jars and tin cans. One of the easiest and fantastic looking DYI centerpieces is painted can which will match with any rustic wedding. The colors matching with the wedding décor are golden, silver, copper.

Sand or wooden boxes. Picking the sandboxes for centerpiece would be appropriate if the wedding theme is tropical since sand is used in beach inspired themes. You can decorate them with sea elements like shells, pearls, rocks, or greenery & exotic flowers. For your rustic outdoor wedding in parks, woods or just backyard you may want to use wooden boxes for centerpieces. Any wooden container will suit this purpose starting from a breakfast tray ending with any sort of wooden box. They can be filled in with plants and herbs or just with seasonal flowers.

So, as you see, you’ve got plenty of options to display the flowers in a very reasonable, green and economical way. Your rustic centerpieces will draw attention and add a required ambience to the decoration. That is why I believe them to be the most beautiful detail in any wedding. Hope now you can save some money and do your own fantastic flower décor.
